Chief Executive - Leeds FInancial Services Initiative (LFSI)

Leeds FInancial Services Initiative (LFSI) is a company limited by guarantee and is a membership body, whose primary aim is to promote the Leeds City Region as the leading financial centre in the UK, outside London.

We are looking to recruit a Chief Executive, who will be responsible for leading the organisation through a significant step change, which promises to be a challenging and exciting period of growth.  The successful candidate will be an inspirational leader with commercial accumen, who has the gravitas to raise the profile of FPSS in the Leeds City Region and beyond.

Your background will include extensive experience and proven credibility within the FPSS sector, both locally and nationally.  With a proven track record of strategic and operational achievement, you will be able to demonstrate an ability to respond to market needs and identify new opportunities.

Personal qualities will include strong communication, influencing and relationship building skills, together with the natural ability to command respect at all levels.  You will also have a coaching and open management style, able to empower and enthuse others.

This role is offered as a fixed term contract until March 2011.
