Leadership is clearly one of the most important factors in determining success of any organisation – strong leaders define direction and inspire others to strive towards achieving common goals.
Development is essential to support, nourish and retain existing and potential leaders to ensure that an organisation has the best possible leadership both now and in the future.
Through a unique collaboration between Sterling and the Business School at Leeds Metropolitan University, we are able to offer an accredited leadership development programme based on a flexible and modular framework that can be tailored to accommodate leaders at all levels from newly appointed managers to experienced Board executives.
Process
• Understand the current situation – Development Needs Analysis (DNA)
• Define the learning and development outcomes
• Design a modular solution – moulded to match the current needs of the organisation
• Facilitate the interventions
• Review and evaluate performance improvement
Methodology
• Learning outcomes and modules agreed with client
• Minimum of 5 modules required for full accreditation
• University sign off content of modules and learning contract to ensure relevance to academic qualifications

Steps to full Accreditation
1) Introduction to Reflective Practice = 5points
1500 word report on work practices
2) Completion of Learning Modules = 20 points
3000 word report based on work application of learning
3) Work Based Learning Project = 20 points
7500 word report plus 3 half days over a 12 week period
